The Curtain

Ballerina, behind the curtains, hiding behind the stage. Backstage isn’t so glamorous.

I’ve developed the secrete desire to become an Acrobat. I’ll be the light one, on the top; the one they throw around, the one who does all the flips, jumps, and twirls. I’d like to be, that much more, in control of my body. It would be Spectacular: bending and twisting. Dancing in the air, above looks of amazement and terror! But secretly, I also have a fear of heights...
